The development targets the service sector as the service sector is concerned with offering services to businesses and consumers. The service sector includes retail, financial services, communication, hospitality and leisure, real estate and information technology. Hospitality and Leisure

There is a cafe and restaurant within the development allowing those who live, work and visit the site to go enjoy and spend money. This hospitality will also provide a range of jobs through seasonal work, part time and full time work. The museum also contributed to the leisure aspect of the service sector with visitors visiting the museum during their leisure time.

The development includes three mixed use building with all three buildings having retail space incorporated into them. This retail space will provide jobs within the area through management roles and sales assistance providing full and part time jobs. The development also allows people visiting the site to spend money, circulating more money throughout the local economy.

There are five residential buildings within the development each with hundreds of residents in each. These residents will make a huge contribution to the economy whether this is through going to the cafe each day or even just going to the shops. This will play a huge role in the success of the development with the services not having to rely solely on visitors. They will also provide vibrancy to the development without once again the development having to rely on visitors. As well as this residents will bring people from outside the development, these also contributing to the economy through going to restaurants and shops.
