Phase 3

The buildings within phase one include four residential buildings located towards the north of the site. The buildings have been located here as they are the furthest away from the airport minimising noise from planes. The two office buildings located to the south west of the site are in keeping with the current buildings. The buildings surrounding these are also used for office space.

The three buildings included in phase three include a heritage building located north of the other two buildings that have been restored to their original use to celebrate its history, this being a cafe. The office building located to the south east of the site during this phase is able to take in the waterfront views, this office space has been incorporated for businesses to also take advantage of the enterprise zone benefits. The mixed use building located south west of the site during this phase provides a hub of activity for those visiting as it is central of the development and also includes retail use and a museum dedicated to teaching visitors about the Royal Albert Docks history.

The three mixed use buildings located to the south of the site during phase three provide services such as restaurants, residential use, retail and office space allowing the buildings to serve all people visiting the site. The residential building located on the north east of the blue network takes advantage of the expanded water front allowing more residents a view looking over the river and also the airport. This building has still been set back from the development edge further reducing the noise produced by the airport. The office building located in front of the residential building plays a role in reducing the noise level for residents. This building also allows businesses to once again take advantage of the enterprise zone. Lastly, the restaurant connected to the pier allows visitors to experience the expanded waterfront allowing visitors to interact with the blue network.
